What fall means to me.

Cheerleading season is upon us......

Well my DD just got done with football cheerleading and is now headed into the All Star season. I love All Star Cheer the competitions are so much fun and the girls are getting so good! I love to see all the girls in their uniforms and glitter makeup, they all look so awesome! I have volunteered to be assistant coach this year. DD is in the youth group Level 1. Last year they took state championship! I am so proud of her, its like she is a natural born cheerleader. DD has been working on her solo routine for the past 2 months...she is so dedicated! We are working on fundraisers to get the squad new jackets this year, they are so excited! Pizza Hut is going to help us out this year with a tip night for the girls. It is where they wait tables and serve pizza and then they get all tips collected. We are also going to do a bake sale and a garage sale. We have 11 girls on our squad, but I wish we could get one more girl to sign up to complete the squad. With 12 girls we will beable to do 3 lift stunts, but right now we are only allow 2 lifts.

Here are a couple of new LOs I have finished. The first is DD's football cheer squad competition 2007. This is the first year we were able to host the competition right here in Alpena! The second LO is the Digi Dares #56. Oh, I almost forgot we found out yesterday that my cousin is having a baby girl, how exciting! We have all boys in the family except for DD. She is due February 22, 2008 I can't wait!

LO for the digi dares...

You should check out this weeks dare over at the Digi Dares I just love partaking in the weekly dares, they give me inspiration and a chance to explore my digi creativity. I love this weeks dare, doing this LO gave me such a warm and cozy feeling, it was alot of fun. I love using soft colors and of course pink is my favorite color.

Keeping in touch with old friends...

I got an email 2 days ago from my very best friend, whom I have not seen in over 10 yrs. We live miles and miles apart, but we keep in touch through postal mail and emails. She sends me pics of her children and I send her pics of mine. I think it is so cool we still touch base with eachother. She sent me this pic of her daughter and I just could not resist doing a LO of her, she is so adorable!

It finally happened!

I made 2 different CTs in one week! I applied for Sandra Adamson (Seascraps) CT and got accepted and then was asked to join the CT team for Ziggle Designs. Both are amazing designers! I am so thrilled to be apart of both teams.

I am a Designers Assistant for Sandra Adamson, I will be making QPs. It is quite fun!

I got my first kit to work with for Ziggle Designs CT. It is called Heart and Soul and you can find it at Ditigal Candy Here is a preview and one of the two layouts I have made with it.

Just one of those days....

Ever have one of those days where you just feel like crawling in a dark hole all by yourself and crying til there is no tomorrow? Well that is me today, I have no idea why I feel this way I just do. And to top it all off I caught a cold in the Summer time! I have no idea how I caught a cold in such warm weather. I hope my kids don't catch it, because they all start school on the 4th and we don't want anyone sick...(to stay home with mom!). Oh my goodness school sure did sneak up fast this year, I am so not ready. Bailey my son needs so much to take to school and he is in 1st grade. I ask myself what the heck do the school's provide? Nothing! He even has to bring in paper to share with the class! Paper? I remember being in school and all we had to start the year with is glue sticks and pencils! What will the schools ask for next!

Here is a LO I started on last night and finished up this morning. I love doing LOs of my daughter, her pictures always amaze me and also I have so many of them, because she loves the camera.

I used a template I found on Andrea's Blog Isn't it awesome, I love it.

Two new paper LOs

New LO......

Here is a LO I just finished. This is the first picture I took with my new camera. It is of my daughter, isn't she beautfiul? I used pieces from KJconners "Woodland Magic" kit. My first paper LO in months........and a new camera!

I was looking at my scrap room and I said to myself, Jen, you have so many supplies and paper and they are just sitting there collecting dust and going to waste do something!! So I did. I actually sat down and did a paper LO, which I have not done in over 6 months! Yup, just like riding a bike, it came together fast and it was fun. Keep in mind I will never give up my digi, but it was nice to scrap with the feeling of texture in my hands. Here is my LO, I have been wanting to scrap these pictures of my nephew for awhile now and finally done.



And, BAM.......my new camera! I am so stoked. I never had a digital camera before, always took pictures and scanned them in to my computer. This is so much easier and the pictures look awesome! I will upload some pictures later today, but for now I will show you my camera. Here it is, my Canon Power shot A530 with 5.0 mega pixels and 4x optical zoom!!!!!!! I also got this really cool, handy, dandy camera tote with mini camera case. It's the Swiss Gear, the scope 2 piece camera set.
