Beautiful day and new layouts.

Today is the first real beautiful day here up in northern Michigan. It reached 61F and the sun is shining. After so much cold weather it feels like summer. Isn't weird how it is so cold, but when it warms up to about 60F it feels like 85F. Here are some new layouts I have completed.

Snow, snow go away........

In the last 2 days we have gotten aleast 2 foot of snow. I just got back inside from shoveling and I am pooped! I really don't like winter at all, I live in the wrong part of the country. This winter has been just rotten so cold and tons of snow. I don't think spring is ever going to get here, no matter what the silly groundhog said......
Anyway now that I am done ranting about the weather here in northern Michigan I have some exciting news. The Digital Candy Blog has a really cool new challenge. Another layout.

I just finished my tattoo layout. I don't think I am 100% happy with it. I think it is lacking something. I was working for 3 days on this page and I just could not get my groove on. Anyway, this is a page of me getting my very first tattoo. It took me 12 years to finally decided to get one. Tattoos are forever and I wanted to make sure I was ready for one. Now I am ready to get another one, I am addicted......

Happy Birthday Digital Candy!!

June is Digital Candy's One year birthday! Tons of games and fun challenges going on over at Digital Candy they are having a month long partner challenge and I am having a blast. I have never scrapped with a partner before it is quite an experience. The partner challenge consist of one partner starting a LO and the other finishing it, you have to both have the same kit and only have one week to complete the challenge. I learned a new technique.

I just love seeing this technique used. I see so many great pages being used with extraction pictures. This is my first real try at it and I really liked how it turned out. I definitely will be using this techinque more often.

My Obsession
